Richmond Waldorf School Hosts 4th Annual Holiday Faire

11.2024

Richmond Waldorf School will hold its 4th Annual Holiday Faire from 2 till 6pm December 7 at its Northside campus, set to take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on its campus at 1301 Robin Hood Road. This beloved event, open to the public, invites families and community members to experience a magical afternoon filled with holiday cheer, unique artisan goods, family activities, and seasonal treats.

The Holiday Faire has become a cherished tradition in Richmond, offering an afternoon where the sights, sounds, and joys of the season create a warm and inviting atmosphere for children and adults alike. Guests can explore a curated selection of handcrafted gifts from local artisans, enjoy delicious food and beverages, and take part in engaging and unique family-friendly activities.

Enjoy live performances from local musicians Peyton Braband & Albafeire Band, and puppet shows for young audiences by our talented Early Childhood Faculty. Children’s activities include beeswax candle decorating, kite paper crafts, felted acorn ornaments, a visit with the Pocket Fairy, time in the magical Crystal Cave, and time in the children's only gift shop—the Gnome's Nook.

"It’s a joy to see families share this special day with us. Holiday Faire--a uniquely Waldorf event--reflects our school’s commitment to creating memorable, hands-on experiences that bring people together." says Alexandra Mazeres, director of enrollment & development at Richmond Waldorf School.

Richmond Waldorf School invites everyone to join in the festivities. Admission to the event is free, and tickets for activities will be available for purchase onsite as well as through a pre-sale link on their website. Proceeds from the Holiday Faire directly support the school’s educational programs, benefiting current and future students.
